Joel D. Secundy joined RWD’s Executive Search practice as a Vice President in 2008. He previously worked as a recruiter for Russell Reynolds Associates in the New York Financial Services practice. There, he worked with the Firm’s key financial services clients including consumer banking companies, financial technology firms, hedge funds, funds of funds and global private equity firms. Before transitioning into executive search consulting, Joel spent four years with Citigroup where he served as Vice President, National Business Development Manager, Business Banking. He was then asked to take on the role of Deputy Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO of Citigroup’s International Global Consumer Group with a mandate to contribute to expansion planning in developing regions around the world. Joel was then promoted to the role of Vice President, Enhancement Services Acquisition, Channel Strategy and Development within the Global Consumer Group.
Joel spent the first 11 years of his career with MBNA America Bank in a variety of roles. As Vice President, Department Manager, Customer Satisfaction, he guided the launch of MBNA's Mid-Atlantic Regional Telephone Access Customer Satisfaction Department. He was then promoted to First Vice President,Senior Account Executive where he directed sales, marketing and portfolio management for more than 40 of the company's oldest and largest U.S. affinity credit card programs. Joel received his B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He resides in Larchmont, New York with his wife and three children. |
