Louis Sumin is the Managing Partner of RWD Executive Search. He is active in the day-to-day management of RWD and chairs its advisory board, which provides strategic direction to the organization.
Born and raised in New York City, Lou is a true entrepreneur who has founded, managed and grown numerous highly successful professional services organizations. Lou's lineage (his family founded Barney's New York) may partially explain his impressive track record. He is also blessed with boundless energy, a keen eye for talent, a deep understanding of business and a true passion for building and cultivating great companies. A graduate of Pace University with a degree in accounting, Lou spent the first five years of his career as a senior accountant with a large, New York City based public accounting firm before starting his first company. He has paralleled his business success with an extraordinary record of philanthropy. For more than five years working with his wife Judy, Lou provided his fiscal expertise, professional experience and fulltime devotion to the "Make a Wish Foundation." In his spare time, Lou is a dedicated sailor and avid runner who has completed the New York City Marathon. |
